RIDE THE LAST STAGE OF CAPE OUTBACK 2013 IN AID OF DIE BURGER KERSFONDS
50 members of the public will be allowed to ride the last stage of Cape Outback 2013, from Strandveld to Beloftebos, on Sunday 3 March 2013 in aid of Die Burger Kersfonds. The Strandveld Challenge, as this stage will be known, covers 75km of the best tracks and roads that the Overberg has to offer. If you missed out on the whole expedition or if you are planning on riding it in future, the Strandveld Challenge is an excellent way to get a taste of the Cape Outback vibe and excitement. Strandveld Challenge riders join the expedition at Strandveld Winery (near the town of Elim) on Saturday afternoon 2 March 2013.
Entries cost R800 (half of which will be donated to Die Burger Kersfonds) and include dinner with the Cape Outback riders at Strandveld Winery on 2 March, tented accommodation at Strandveld, breakfast on 3 March as well as lunch at the finish line at Beloftebos. The Strandveld Challenge will start at 07h15, fifteen minutes after the Cape Outback riders. Entries for the Strandveld Challenge are done online through the Cape Outback website. More information on the Strandveld Challenge can also be found in today’s Buite Burger, so be sure to get yourself a copy today.
